The Packhorse is a traditional Somerset country pub, situated in the beautiful village of Southstoke, but less than 10 minutes drive from the centre of Bath. The pub is housed in a building dating back to the 1650's and we have tried to retain the simplicity and traditions of an old fashioned country Inn. We have beautiful gardens at the rear of the pub with lovely views across the countryside where you can sit and enjoy a pint or meal. We serve a range of traditional ciders, quality ales and a broad range of wines. Our menu, all of which is prepared from scratch on the premises, changes regularly to reflect the best of each particular season. We are both child and dog friendly, though we do ask both parents and dog owners to respect the fact that they are responsible for the behaviour of their respective charges.
